About Your Coach

Background

Founder of Sage Within Coaching, Jennifer Ford, completed an ICF-accredited training program in 2024 and has over 125 hours of client coaching. She's passionate about creating a heart-centered, safe space where clients can explore and overcome what's keeping them stuck.

With a background in movement and somatic modalities and a deep interest in philosophy and psychology I believe in being in tune with the inner body and belief systems. The way we feel in our bodies, treat ourselves, and speak to ourselves is paramount in who we become. Our thought patterns impact our day-to-day life. During our session I can assist you in becoming more aware of your patterns, so you can shift and choose ideas in alignment with your values and vision. The first step is awareness.

Jen lives in Evergreen, CO with her husband, two kids, and Saint Bernard. They enjoy snowboarding, mountain biking, camping, and rafting on weekends. They also look forward to visiting family in MD and NY in the summer.

Guiding Philosophies

  • Inner Wisdom as the compass for aligned action,

  • Grounded Transformation that honors both stability and change,

  • Embodied Presence through somatic awareness and nervous system attunement,

  • Purpose through Transition that sees challenge and change as the path to deeper meaning

  • Integration & Wholeness that welcomes all parts of the self into growth.

Somatic Emphasis

I grew up dancing, learning an attachment to a false perception of perfection. I'm still in the process of unlearning those expectations of myself. With this experience in tow, I can fully understand and compassionately witness when my clients are experiencing a tight grip on their expectations. I also have a deep appreciation for discipline and the intense practice needed to hone skills. I understand it takes time and commitment to unlearn ingrained habits from years of repetition. I've also taught Pilates, practiced massage therapy, and am a lover of ecstatic dance and yoga. I'm naturally inclined to trust and respect the body's wisdom and am incorporating somatic practices into coaching when helpful.

My Approach

I offer a coaching process that's both spacious and structured - designed to meet you where you are, honor your inner truth, and support you as you grow into what's next. This is a cyclical, dynamic and responsive process. Together, we move through three core energies that support lasting change.

Anchor - Return to Your Center

At any stage, we pause to listen deeply: Where are you now? What matters most? What's asking to be honored? Anchoring is about staying connected to your values, needs, and wisdom so you can move forward with clarity and steadiness.

Expand - Stretch into New Possibilities

From a grounded place, we explore what's next. Expansion might look like trying a new direction, breaking through old patterns, or embracing your deeper desires. This is where vision and action meet - gently, boldly, and in your own rhythm.

Integrate - Embody Aligned Living

Change only sticks when it becomes part of your lived experience. Integration is about weaving your growth into everyday life - so your choices, relationships and habits reflect who you really are and want to be. It's where transformation deepens into integrity - wholeness, congruence, and embodied alignment.

"When I was struggling to create a 5-year career plan, Jennifer helped me connect my current role to my long-term goals. She challenged me to reflect deeply, identify thinking patterns, and take actionable steps foward. Our work together brought clarity to my career, mindset and direction - and has had a lasting impact on how I approach all three.
